Revenant Tactical
A simpler last layer built around earlier warning, human judgment, and immediate close-in kinetic defense.
The Threat
Small UAS can emerge from clutter, terrain, or structures after longer-range defenses have failed to acquire the threat—or after the threat has penetrated the outer layers.
Commercial and FPV drones can impose disproportionate risk on personnel, vehicles, and critical assets.
At terminal range, detection alone is not enough. The operator needs earlier directional warning and an immediately available weapon.
SkyMoat focuses only on the close-in layer where a threat is near, committed, and time is limited.
Zone of Peril
The Zone of Peril is the terminal 0–75 m layer where a small UAS can still threaten the defended asset after outer sensors and effectors have done their work—or failed to acquire the threat in time.
The Solution
Nine rectangular 12-gauge shotgun effectors on a manually slewed protective mount, with compact radar and/or acoustic cueing to extend the operator's decision window.

Compact radar and/or acoustic sensors monitor local airspace and estimate threat direction.
A simple directional warning gives the operator more time to orient and verify.
The operator identifies the threat, manually slews the shield-mounted array, and authorizes fire.
Nine synchronized 12-gauge effectors create a dense terminal engagement pattern.
SkyMoat® • Sensor-Cued Human-Operated C-UAS
Each effector is a complete 12-gauge shotgun action and barrel system inside a compact rectangular housing.
The housing changes how the shotgun integrates with the array. It does not change the ammunition class or basic weapon function.
Coordinated electromechanical control produces a dense pattern without requiring autonomous target selection.
Nine aligned effectors mount to one protective plate and move together under manual operator control.
High-density kinetic effect with modular integration and mission-appropriate human control.
Economic Asymmetry
Low-cost threats can force high-cost responses. SkyMoat's core methodology is to restore balance with a practical, lower-cost terminal layer for appropriate authorized missions—rather than routinely spending an expensive outer-layer interceptor on a low-cost close-in threat.
Ready Where You Need It
The same manually operated SkyMoat configuration is shown below in environments that match the intended use case.

Close-in protection for tactical vehicles, convoys, and mobile response assets using familiar shield/turret positions.

Perimeter and point defense for authorized federal, border, base, and critical-site protection missions.

Close-in protection for ports, vessels, and coastal security operations where small UAS can emerge at short range.
